The Famous Pedestrian Promenade
Parallel to the beach runs a wide, vehicle-free paved promenade. This walkway is the true heartbeat of Marmaris. Throughout the day and night, tourists and locals alike stroll, cycle, and enjoy the cooling sea breeze. The promenade is packed with restaurants offering international cuisines, local Turkish grills, lively bars, and souvenir shops.
Beach Amenities and Atmosphere
Uzunyali Beach is sandy, though some sections have small pebbles. Because it is highly central, almost all parts of the beach are managed by the restaurants and hotels backing onto the shore. If you buy a drink or food from them, you can use their sunbeds and umbrellas for free all day.
