Situated 25 kilometers south of Marmaris, just beyond Turunc, lies Kumlubük. Known for its wide beach, spectacular panoramic mountain views, and exceptionally clean, deep blue sea, it is one of the region's best-kept secrets.
The Beach and Wilderness
Kumlubük Beach is a long stretch of coarse sand and shingle. The sea here deepens more quickly than at Icmeler or Marmaris, and the water is incredibly clear, making it a hotspot for snorkeling. The valley behind the beach is largely undeveloped, covered in olive trees, wild herbs, and pine forest, maintaining a natural, wild atmosphere.
Yachting and Gastronomy
Due to its deep waters and shelter, Kumlubük is a favorite anchorage for luxury yachts. It is home to some high-end beach clubs and restaurants, such as the famous Kumlubük Yacht Club, which serves delicious international and Turkish dishes to yachtsmen from all over the world.
