Located near the village of Turgut, about 35 kilometers southwest of Marmaris, Turgut Waterfall (Turgut Şelalesi) is a lush, shady retreat from the intense summer heat of the coastline.
Natural Pools and Forests
The waterfall is situated in a dense forest of plane and pine trees. The water cascades down from a height of about 4 meters, forming five small natural pools. The water temperature is extremely cold, even in the middle of July and August, offering an incredibly refreshing swim for adventurous visitors.
Surrounding Amenities
The area around the waterfall is well-developed with wooden walking pathways, small bridges, and resting spots. There are local cafes and open-air restaurants nearby serving traditional Turkish pancakes (gözleme), fresh trout, and local sage tea. It is a frequent stop for Jeep Safari tours.
