Marmaris is one of the premier destinations for scuba diving in Turkey. The junction of the Aegean and Mediterranean seas creates a rich marine ecosystem, and the exceptionally clear waters offer underwater visibility of up to 30 meters.
Diving for Beginners: The 'Try Dive'
If you have never dived before, Marmaris is the perfect place to start. Professional diving schools offer daily beginner trips. After a safety briefing, you will do a one-on-one guided dive to a depth of 5 to 6 meters, feeding fish and having your photos taken underwater.
